Lotus fought at Rajadamnern on Monday night. He hasn’t fought since he was in Australia in October so he had a lot of ring rust to shake off. He lost via decision, and will be back at the gym shortly to continue working hard again.
Ahmad, Angela, and Kendra were scheduled to fight in Chachoengsao on Monday. While waiting for the fights to start, someone from another gym had their opponent pull out. Petchnongkhai, who came to help out, ended up fighting!
Petchnongkhai goes to school in the daytime and hasn’t been training consistently recently. He was matched up with someone taller and heavier. However, he used his experience and fight I to wear his opponent down with knees. He went on to win by decision!
Kendra had her first fight in Thailand against someone much more experienced. Her opponent played smart and was able to outscore her. But Kendra never stopped fighting for a second, winning the hearts of everyone in attendance.
Angela’s opponent got changed last minute. She had fought her before several months ago so she was already familiar with what she had to do in order to win. In a very close fight, Angela came out victorious, using elbows and her aggression.
Ahmad was also matched up with someone taller and heavier, but much less experienced. He ended up winning by TKO – right before the 5th round started, the opponent’s corner called it off. It wasn’t the fight we wanted for him, but a win is a win.
